Female Pedestrian Struck and Killed on Capitol Expressway
SAN JOSE, CA (August 19, 2024) — A woman was fatally struck by a vehicle early Monday morning near the intersection of Snell Avenue and Capitol Expressway, according to the San Jose Police Department.
The incident occurred when a driver, for reasons still under investigation, hit the woman at the intersection. So therefore, emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, transported the woman to a nearby hospital, and pronounced her dead.
Driver Remained At The Scene And Cooperated With Authorities
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity, and they are still investigating the cause of the accident.
