Man Struck by SUV Dies In Hospital
San Jose, CA (July 28, 2024) — A man was fatally struck by an SUV at the intersection of 11th Street and East William Street on Sunday morning, July 28.
The incident occurred around 6:18 a.m. According to the San Jose Police Department, a Toyota Highlander was exiting an apartment complex driveway at a slow speed when the driver ran over the man, who was lying in the roadway.
Despite Life-Saving Efforts The Unidentified Man Succumbed To His Injuries In The Hospital
Paramedics quickly responded and transported the man to a hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
In addition, the male driver of the SUV remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
It is currently unknown whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
