Police Seek Information For Hit-and-Run Crash In Modesto, CA
MODESTO, CA (October 27, 2024) — A tragic hit-and-run accident on Paradise Road near Leon Avenue claimed the life of a pedestrian in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to the Modesto Police Department, officers responded to reports of a collision at approximately 2:30 a.m. Witnesses stated that a black sedan struck a male pedestrian before speeding away westbound on Paradise Road. Authorities believe the victim was crossing Paradise Road northbound when the incident occurred.
Victim Has Not Been Identified At This Time
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene, though authorities have not yet identified him or released his name and age.
