Pedestrian Hit & Killed On West Briggsmore Ave.
Modesto, CA (July 13, 2024) – Late Saturday evening, a pedestrian was killed in a vehicle collision at the intersection of West Briggsmore Avenue and Carver Road.
The Modesto Police Department reported that the fatal incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on July 13. Because of a vehicle traveling west on Briggsmore Avenue that struck a pedestrian under unclear circumstances. Unfortunately, it remains unknown whether the pedestrian was crossing the road, walking in a lane, or on the shoulder.
Emergency Responders Arrived Promptly And Transported The Man To A Local Hospital
In addition, emergency responders arrived swiftly and transported the pedestrian to a hospital, where the victim succumbed to their injuries.
Also, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officials. As a result, no identifying information about the pedestrian has been released at this time.
