Merced County, CA (November 12, 2024) – A 16-year-old girl from Le Grand was injured in a head-on collision Tuesday morning on Highway 140 near Arboleda Drive. The crash, which occurred around 9:00 a.m., involved a Honda Civic and a truck, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities report that the teen driver lost control of her Honda Civic, resulting in a head-on collision with an oncoming truck. The impact was so severe that the Civic split into two. Despite the intensity of the crash, the girl sustained only minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the truck also suffered minor injuries.
