Suspected Hit-and-Run on Highway 49 Leaves 1 Dead
Grass Valley, CA (March 18, 2025) – A pedestrian was discovered dead late Tuesday night following a suspected hit-and-run on Highway 49, just south of Wolf Road, according to authorities.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported receiving a 911 call around 10:09 p.m. on March 18, alerting them to a man lying in the southbound lane of State Route 49. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and confirmed the individual had died.
CHP Investigators Are Still Looking Into The Circumstances That Led To The Incident
