A Thursday morning accident left one woman dead on Highway 41 in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The 29-year-old Andrea Lynn Greiner from Coarsegold died when she was hit by a truck near the intersection at Road 208.
Greiner was standing on the side of the highway at about 2 a.m. when she was hit by a 2008 Toyota Tacoma.
Keng Kao Moua, 42, of Fresno, was driving the truck at the time of the accident and did not see her in time to avoid the accident.
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.
