Stockton, CA (January 9, 2024) – Tragedy struck at Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road in Stockton early Sunday morning, as a 23-year-old man lost his life in a fatal car accident around 3:32 a.m. on January 7. According to the Stockton Police Department, the young man was behind the wheel when his vehicle collided with a light pole at the intersection.

Swift response from paramedics saw the injured driver rushed to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. As of now, the identity of the victim has not been immediately disclosed.
In addition to the driver’s fatality, three passengers in the vehicle suffered varying degrees of injuries, ranging from minor to moderate.
