The driver of the Chevy Tahoe had a green light on Havana Drive before colliding with the family on King Road, causing serious injuries to the mother and one of her daughters.

On Monday, Another Crash on Capitol Expressway Occurred After a Police Chase

On Monday, a San Jose police chase concluded with a major collision involving five vehicles at Capitol Expressway and Story Road. The chase began when a driver attacked a police officer with a box cutter and then fled the scene in a van at 5:43 p.m., according to investigators.

Officers pursued the van to a busy intersection during rush-hour, resulting in a crash involving five vehicles. Subsequently, a foot chase ensued, and officers successfully apprehended the driver and a second individual who also attempted to flee. Both suspects were booked into a Santa Clara County jail on felony charges.
