4 Injured After Car Crashes in Union Square
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (August 18, 2024) — A car crashed into a corner building at Stockton Street and Post Street in the Union Square neighborhood early Sunday morning, injuring four people.
The accident occurred around 2:38 a.m., according to the San Francisco Fire Department. Officials reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet unknown, causing the car to collide with the corner of a building at the intersection. The building struck may include the Breitling Boutique, though the extent of the damage remains unclear.
SFFD, Quickly Arrived To Treat The 5 Occupants Inside The Vehicle
Emergency responders from the San Francisco Fire Department quickly arrived at the scene, where they assessed five occupants inside the vehicle. Therefore, emergency personnel transported four of them to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Also, traffic detectives in San Francisco are investigating the cause of the crash, and building inspectors have been called to assess any structural damage to the affected property.
