Four Injured in Two-Car Crash on Elkhorn Blvd
SACRAMENTO, CA (December 6, 2024) – A toddler was among four people injured in a two-vehicle collision on Elkhorn Boulevard at Levee Road Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. when, for reasons still under investigation, an eastbound pickup truck turning left collided with a westbound sedan. According to the California Highway Patrol, both vehicles were heavily impacted by the crash.
Paramedics Transported Both Drivers To A Nearby Hospital
Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the two male drivers to a nearby hospital after they reported pain from the accident. A 24-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy, both passengers in the sedan, also suffered injuries. The woman sustained a broken arm, while the toddler suffered a cut to his eye.
At this time, authorities have not determined the cause of the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
