One child Dead and Another in Grave Condition After Car Plunges into Channel

A car plunged into the channel at the Ports O’ Call Village and sank 30 feet into the water. The parents of two boys escaped but the boys remainedMotorcycle Accident Injury Lawyersubmerged under the water for 10-15 minutes. One boy was taken to the hospital and later died. The other was taken to the hospital and reported to be in grave condition.

Firefighters responded to the call and dove into the water to retrieve the boys.

Frank Palazzolo, witness, 15, reported that the mother stayed at the car screaming, “My kids, my kids…”

Both boys were pulseless when they were brought up from the water.

CPR was performed on one boy at the hospital.

The incident appeared to be an accident but the authorities don’t know if the car was  driven into the channel intentionally.

The car appeared to be moving 20-30 mph as it entered the water.

Witnesses say it looked like the car sped up as it entered the water.

The boys were said to be 11 and 14 years old.
