Closure of Lanes Following Wrong-Way Crash in Mountain View

Mountain View, CA (March 31, 2024) – Police closed several lanes on Highway 101 near Rengstorff Avenue following a wrong-way accident Sunday morning.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the two-car collision occurred around 7:30 a.m. when a driver, for reasons yet to be determined, entered the southbound lanes while traveling northbound. The wrong-way vehicle collided with another car near the Rengstorff Avenue off-ramp.

Emergency Responders Arrived Quickly To Close Lanes And Attend To The Wreckage
