Fatal Hit-and-Run Driver Finally Arrested
Fairfield, CA (April 23, 2024) – Jaered Diago has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred over three months ago on Air Base Parkway near Wylie Lane, according to the Fairfield Police Department. Authorities apprehended Jaered Diago at a residence in Vacaville just one day after the incident, but it took them several months to gather enough evidence to secure an arrest warrant.

The investigation revealed that Jaered Diago struck a woman around 1:00 a.m. on April 23. Officers later discovered the victim’s body on the roadway, showing injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. But unfortunately, authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Therefore, authorities are asking anyone with additional information about the accident to contact local police.
