A 62-year-old male resident of Huntington Beach was killed by a pickup truck driver in Laughlin on Saturday night, according to authorities.
David Scott Simpson died of several blunt-force injuries from the impact of the crash said the Clark County coroner’s officer spokesperson.
The accident occurred at about 8:48 p.m. on Casino Driver when the driver of a Ford pickup hit Simpson as he was walking along the side of the street with his wife.
Apparently, Simpson and his wife attempted to cross the street outside of a marked crosswalk.
The crash was still being investigated.
