PALMDALE, CA (August 8, 2022) – Early in the morning on Sunday in Palmdale, two vehicles collided head on, killing two people. The August 7 crash occurred close to where Cricket Lane and Rancho Vista Boulevard intersect.
The time was roughly 3:40 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Authorities said two vehicles–both described as pickup trucks–collided. The pickup trucks were described as a Chevrolet Silverado, white in color, and a Dodge Ram 1500, dark in color.
Responders pronounced two people deceased at the crash site.
They were identified only as men. Their names, ages, and cities of residence have not been reported.
Reports do not say if anyone else was traveling in the vehicles that crashed.
Investigators are at work to understand the crash, and they are continuing to collect details and information.
