76-Year-Old Woman Suffers a Fractured Pelvis
Sorrento Valley, CA (April 19th, 2023) – A 76-year-old woman suffered a fractured pelvis in a traffic accident. The incident occurred on the 805 Freeway in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego on April 17th. The accident happened shortly after 6:00 a.m. at the offramp for Miramar Road.
2020 Hino Truck Crossed Over The Median And Struck 2 Cars
According to the San Diego Police Department, a 2020 Hino truck driven by a 46-year-old male was traveling northbound on the freeway when it crossed over the center median and collided with a 2016 Toyota Camry driven by a 37-year-old man and a 2016 Subaru driven by the elderly woman. Both the Camry and the Subaru were attempting to continue westbound on Miramar Road.
Apart from the woman who suffered a fractured pelvis, it is unknown if there were any other injuries sustained in the crash. The police are still conducting their investigation to determine the cause of the accident and any factors that may have contributed to it.
