Sacramento, CA (June 16, 2024) – A pedestrian in a wheelchair was struck and injured by a hit-and-run driver near Elkhorn Boulevard and Andrea Boulevard on Sunday night.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. The driver, under unclear circumstances, hit a man in a wheelchair who was crossing the road and then fled the scene without offering assistance.
They Quickly Transported the Man to a Nearby Hospital and Treated Him For Injuries.
Emergency personnel quickly arrived and transported the injured man to a hospital, where doctors are treating him for moderate to major injuries.
