DUI Accident Leaves 7 Injured and 1 Dead in Yuba City
Yuba City, CA – Authorities have identified 27-year-old Bryan Rodriguez-Duran of Colusa as the victim of a fatal crash on Highway 20, suspected to involve a DUI, on Sunday evening.
The Yuba City Police Department reported that the incident occurred on June 2 at approximately 8:42 p.m. A white Honda Crosstour allegedly ran a stop sign and began traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 20.
Shortly after, the Honda collided head-on with a Ford F150 near El Margarita Road.

Emergency responders transported six occupants of the Ford to Adventist Rideout Hospital and Sutter Roseville Hospital. Bryan Rodriguez-Duran, one of the occupants taken to Adventist Rideout Hospital, was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Honda, identified as 39-year-old Chloe Tokuno-Fraley, and her 4-year-old passenger sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators suspect Tokuno-Fraley was driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The Yuba City Police Department continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
