Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident in Hayward
Hayward, CA (April 19, 2024) – Tragedy struck at the intersection of Tennyson Road and Lustig Court in Hayward, as a pedestrian accident claimed the life of a 56-year-old man. Furthermore the incident, which occurred around 10:23 p.m. on Friday, involved a 29-year-old woman whose vehicle struck the pedestrian, resulting in his severe injuries.
Upon impact, the female driver promptly stopped her vehicle, pulled over, and awaited the arrival of authorities. Despite the swift response from emergency medical responders, the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries. However, his identity has been withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
Woman Driver Was Not Driving Under The Influence When The Accident Took Place
Authorities have confirmed that the driver was not intoxicated at the time of the accident and remained unharmed. However, the circumstances leading to the collision remain unclear.
