9-Year-Old Boy Mauled by Pit Bull
A 9-year-old boy has spent the weekend recovering from surgery after being mauled by a pit bull.
The dog attacked the boy and latched on to his arm. One neighbor heard the screams and came running to find the dog biting the boy’s face.
“It was horrible, one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. It was ugly,” said the neighbor Pat Nunes, “The dog was tugging on the little boy and it wouldn’t let go. I just reacted.”
Ultimately, the police shot and killed the dog.
The boy was transported to the hospital, where he underwent surgery on his arm and head.
His grandmother was also bit by the dog on the foot.
