Unidentified Pedestrian Killed in Pasadena Hit-and-Run


Pasadena, CA (October 21, 2018) – Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision that struck and killed a woman Sunday evening, October 21st, on Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena. The deadly incident occurred at around 7:20 p.m. on Fair Oaks Avenue near Claremont Street, as a woman was crossing the street mid-block. The pedestrian was then struck by a northbound vehicle that continued without stopping, fleeing the scene. Emergency medical personnel responded promptly to the site, but pronounced the woman dead at the scene. The 27-year-old woman was not yet identified by authorities. Police believe the vehicle in question was a white SUV with extensive damage to its front end. Fair Oaks Avenue was closed for several hours during investigations; Pasadena Police department will continue to lead the investigation.
