Teenaged Girl Struck and Killed at Western Ave. in Buena Park
BUENA PARK, CA (April 13, 2022) – Early in the morning on Tuesday in Buena Park, a vehicle struck and killed a teenaged girl. The April 12 crash occurred where Fillmore Drive and Western Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 6:05 a.m., Buena Park Police said.
No details have yet been reported on the line of travel of the vehicle, nor a description of the vehicle. It is also not known exactly where the girl had been walking when she was struck.
Responders arrived to help, but the girl died at the crash site. Her identity has not been reported.
The person who was driving the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with investigators. The driver’s identity is not known from reports.
Investigators are working to understand why the crash happened. They are collecting details and information to help with that effort.
