BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 4, 2021) – The person who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Bakersfield on Tuesday was identified by the Kern County coroner’s office. He was Stephen Sean Morris, a resident of Bodfish, 29 years old.

Reports say Morris had been riding a motorcycle when he collided with a vehicle, described only as an SUV, on Bodfish Canyon Road in the 1800 block.

The time was roughly 10:20 p.m., according to authorities.

Morris died at the crash site.

The SUV’s driver has not been identified in reports. It is not known if the driver was hurt in the crash, nor if there were any passengers in the vehicle.

Investigators are continuing their work on the incident.
