LOS ANGELES, CA (October 18, 2022) – Early in the morning on Sunday in Los Angeles, a pedestrian on the 110 Freeway was struck and killed. The October 16 crash occurred in the area of West Adams Boulevard, on the southbound side of the freeway.
The time was roughly 5:05 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
A call was made to authorities, reports say, about a person who was in the carpool lane and lying on the roadway.
No details have been reported on how the crash occurred, nor the number of vehicles that may have struck the person.
It is not known why the pedestrian was on the freeway.
The identity of the victim–including name, age, gender, and city of residence–has not been reported.
The driver, or drivers, involved in the crash have also not been identified.
Investigators are trying to understand the crash, and its circumstances, and they are continuing to collect details and information.
