Pedestrian Killed in South Los Angeles Hit-and-run Crash near Figueroa Street
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 24, 2022) – On Wednesday night in South Los Angeles, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the area of Vermont Vista. The March 23 crash occurred where Figueroa Street and Colden Avenue intersect, according to Officer Maldonado who is with Los Angeles Police.
The time was a little after 9:00 p.m., Nicholas Prange said. Prange is with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No details have been reported on the line of travel of the hit-and-run vehicle. The vehicle has not been described.
The driver did not help the victim, but fled the scene.
The pedestrian was killed in the crash. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
Investigators are searching for the suspect hit-and-run driver; no description of the person has yet been reported.
