OCEANSIDE, CA (September 12, 2022) – Early in the morning on Friday in Oceanside, a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian. The September 9 crash occurred where Roymar Road and Mission Avenue intersect.
The time was roughly 5:37 a.m., according to Jennifer Atenza. Atenza is a public information officer with Oceanside Police.
According to authorities, the pedestrian was walking across Mission Avenue when a vehicle–which has not been described–struck him.
Responders pronounced the victim deceased at the crash site.
His identity, including name, age, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The person who was driving the vehicle stayed at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation. The identity of the driver has also not been reported.
Investigators are continuing their work on the crash. If anyone has information about the incident, the person can call Kevin Lissner, who is an investigator.
