MURRIETA, CA (July 11, 2022) – Early in the afternoon on Saturday in Murrieta, two vehicles collided, killing a person. The July 9 crash occurred where Pourroy Road and Auld Road intersect.
The time was roughly 12:44 p.m., Riverside County Cal Fire said.
Reports do not describe how the crash happened, but one of the vehicle overturned a number of times, and a person was thrown from the vehicle.
Responders pronounced a person deceased at the crash site. The identity of the person has not been reported.
Responders transported a patient to a hospital in the area. The types of injuries the patient suffered, and current condition, are not known.
The patient has not been identified.
Investigators are in the process of working to understand the crash.
