MALIBU, CA (December 22, 2021) – Late in the afternoon on Tuesday in Malibu, a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle killed a person. The December 21 crash occurred on Pacific Coast Highway in the area of Big Rock.
The time was roughly 4:20 p.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
No details have yet been reported on how the crash happened. Responders arrived and found one person had died at the crash site.
The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash has not been identified in reports. The vehicle has also not been described.
Investigators are in the process of collecting information to understand what circumstances may have contributed to the crash.
