2 Hurt in DUI Overturned Crash On Avenue 12
Madera, CA (May 26, 2024) — A DUI rollover accident early Sunday on Avenue 12 near Road 37 1/2 left two people injured, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The single-car crash involved a black 2010 Honda Civic, which was traveling westbound at high speed when the driver lost control. The vehicle overturned in a dirt field and eventually crashed into a property near a home.
Emergency Responders Determined Driver Was Under The Influence While Attending To His Injuries
Emergency responders arrived promptly and provided medical assistance to the male driver and his female passenger, both of whom sustained minor injuries. Following an investigation, authorities determined the driver was under the influence, leading to his arrest.
The CHP is seeking additional information from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
