Vallejo Pedestrian Killed in Crash Identified as 19-Year-Old David Lujan Cervantes
VALLEJO, CA (January 25, 2025) – Authorities have identified the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday evening as 19-year-old David Lujan Cervantes of Sacramento.
According to the Vallejo Fire Department, the incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. on January 25 near the intersection of Sonoma Boulevard and Lemon Street. For reasons still under investigation, a vehicle struck Cervantes in the area.
Driver Who Accidentally Killed David Cervantes Remained At The Scene And Cooperated With Police
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced Cervantes dead.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Officials have not released the driver’s identity but confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not factors in the crash.
