Visalia Woman Arrested For Crashing Car into Pool While Intoxicated
Visalia, CA (April 11, 2024) – Christine Peters, 38, is facing DUI charges after crashing her car into a swimming pool at the intersection of Evans Avenue and Sowell Street, according to the Visalia Police Department.
The single-car crash occurred last Thursday when Peters, for reasons related to driving under the influence, lost control of her vehicle and drove into the swimming pool. Upon arrival at the scene, Visalia Police officers found a white Dodge Ram partially submerged in the water. However, Peters was located shortly thereafter and arrested after exhibiting signs of impairment.

Following her arrest, Christine Peters was booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Facility on suspicion of driving under the influence. However, information regarding any injuries sustained in the crash was not immediately available.
