FULLERTON, CA (December 29, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday of last week, and the suspect driver is being sought. The public’s help is requested by the Fullerton Police Department to help identify the suspect hit-and-run driver.

The December 23 crash occurred on Bastanchury Road not far from Brea Boulevard.

The time was roughly 6:45 a.m., according to police.

Responders arrived and found the pedestrian in the median in the center of the road, reports say. The victim died at the crash site.

The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.

According to reports, authorities believe the pedestrian had been attempting to cross Bastanchury Road and a vehicle–described as a Toyota Tundra–struck the person.

Investigators are searching for the vehicle involved in the crash, and the suspect driver. If anyone has information about the crash, the person can contact Investigator J. Feaster. The number is 714-738-6812.
