One Person Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Highway 99 near Highway 58 Onramp
BAKERSFIELD, CA (August 6, 2021) – On Thursday night in Bakersfield, a person was killed in a crash on Highway 99. The August 5 crash occurred on the southbound side of the highway, close to the onramp for Highway 58.
The time was roughly 9:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.
No details have been reported on how the crash happened, or how many vehicles were involved in the collision.
Responders arrived and found one person was killed in the crash. The identity of the person, including name, age, gender, and city of residence, has not been reported.
