The driver, identified only as a 56-year-old man, hit a light pole and then struck another vehicle.

He was taken to a local hospital where he later died due to his injuries. Officials are waiting until his family is notified of his death to release his name.

Police are still investigating the crash, but they believe that the crash may have been caused because the man had a heart attack behind the wheel. They are still waiting for the coroner’s report to determine the official cause.
