Hit-and-Run Driver Hits Homeless Woman on Skid Row
The Los Angeles Police Department is on the hunt for a driver who hit a homeless woman while she was sleeping in her tent on the sidewalk in Skid Row.
The accident occurred at the intersection of 5th Street and Towne Avenue at 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.
According to KTLA, the driver went onto the sidewalk to hit another pedestrian, but hit Christina Silver instead.
Silver was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police are looking for a man in his 30s who drives a gray Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am.
