LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2022) – Early in the evening on Wednesday in Los Angeles, a pedestrian was struck and killed in the Harbor Gateway area. The October 19 crash occurred where Normandie Avenue and 223rd Street are located.
The time was roughly 7:11 p.m., Officer Cruz said. Cruz is with Los Angeles Police.
No details have been reported on where the pedestrian was walking when the vehicle struck. The line of travel of the vehicle has not been reported, and the vehicle has not been described.
Responders arrived to help, but the victim died at the crash site.
The identity of the person–including name, age, gender, and city of residence–has not been reported.
