Salinas, CA (July 28, 2024)   — Four individuals were hospitalized following a severe car accident at the intersection of North Davis Road and West Laurel Drive late Sunday afternoon.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:53 p.m. on July 28. According to the Salinas Police Department, the vehicle failed to navigate the intersection properly, colliding with the traffic control box for the traffic light.

The Collision Was So Intense That it Tore a Wheel and the Motor From the Vehicle

Salinas firefighters swiftly responded to the scene, rescuing all four occupants. Two individuals had to be extricated from the wreckage. Following the extrication, emergency personnel transported all patients to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas. Their conditions are currently unknown.
