3 Injured in Early Morning Broadside Collision in Gardenland Neighborhood
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 23, 2024) – Three individuals sustained injuries in a two-vehicle broadside collision early Tuesday morning at the intersection of American Avenue and Cleveland Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 3:58 a.m. in Sacramento’s Gardenland neighborhood. For reasons still under investigation, one vehicle broadsided another at the intersection.
First Responders Quickly Transported A Man and 2 Women To A Nearby Hospital
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and found a man and two women injured. They transported them to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities have not disclosed the severity and nature of their injuries.
Traffic investigators are still determining the cause of the accident, with no current confirmation if factors such as driving under the influence, distracted driving, or speeding played a role.
