Shasta County, CA (October 17, 2023). In the early hours of Monday, a serious two-car collision on Highway 44 near Shingletown left three individuals injured. The collision prompted a swift response from emergency services which caused a temporary road closure.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the incident occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. and resulted in a significant impact, leading to the closure of one lane. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear at this time.
