Pedestrian Dies When Struck by SUV on Hwy 70 in Yuba County

Yuba County, CA (February 24, 2024)  – Yuba County experienced a tragic pedestrian accident late Saturday evening, February 24, resulting in the death of an unidentified male pedestrian. The fatal incident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. near Magnolia Road on Highway 70.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that a green Chevrolet Trailblazer was traveling north on the highway at approximately 65 mph when it collided with the pedestrian, who was crossing into the vehicle’s path.
