Tracy, CA (March 31, 2024) – In a devastating incident on the 580 Freeway near Corral Hollow Road, Azucena Perez lost her life in a wrong-way collision. The California Highway Patrol reported that the fatal crash, involving two vehicles, occurred at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Harold Liberty IV was driving his Honda Accord in the wrong direction on the 580 West Freeway for reasons yet unknown. Tragically, his vehicle collided head-on with a Kia driven by 32-year-old Azucena Perez. The collision’s impact causes 19-year-old Liberty to eject from his car, striking the center median. Regrettably, Liberty succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
