Wrong Way Driver Dies, Injures Three Others

One woman died and three others were critically injured when a driver traveled the wrong way and caused two collisions in Anaheim early Sunday morning.

The crash occurred on the westbound side of the 91 Freeway at 1:45 a.m. when a vehicle traveling eastbound crashed headlong into another near the Coal Canyon exit.

The driver left the scene and continued driving until they hit another vehicle on the eastbound 241 Toll Road just 15 minutes later.

The passenger in the first car that was hit died and three other people were critically injured.

The crash is still under investigation.
