WHITTIER, CA (August 29, 2022) – Late in the afternoon on Saturday in Whittier Narrows, a crash involving three vehicles killed a person. The August 28 crash occurred where Gallatin Road and Rosemead Boulevard intersect.

The time was roughly 5:37 p.m., Officer Kimball said. Kimball is with the California Highway Patrol.

Three vehicles were reported to have crashed. The vehicles that collided have not been described, and the line of travel of each vehicle prior to colliding is not known from reports.

Responders found one person died at the crash site. The person’s identity–including name, age, gender, and city of residence–has not been reported.
