Vehicle Fire Shuts Down the I-5
A vehicle caught on fire on the northbound on-ramp to Interstate 5 on Thursday morning and caused authorities to shut down access to the ramp.
The accident was reported at about 9:30 a.m. on the Anaheim Boulevard on-ramp on the southbound side of the I-5.
Other motorists on the freeway alerted the driver of the van to the flames underneath the vehicle before the driver pulled to the side of the freeway.
The ramp was reopened at 10 a.m.
