Unlicensed Auto Repair Shops Investigated

Unlicensed auto repair shops have been monitored and investigated Tuesday and Wednesday.

The California Department of Consumer Affairs went through 17 shops, looking for those that were unlicensed or had delinquent businesses.

Twelve shops were found to be out of compliance, and thirteen shop owners were taken in, cited and released.
