The California Highway Patrol has identified the suspect as Daniel Patrick Lenihan, a 54-year-old resident of San Clemente. Lenihan was driving a 2017 Hyundai Sonata and has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter.
The Ohlwiler family, consisting of Kyle Ohlwiler, 34, Hayley Ohlwiler, 31, and their 11-month-old son, Madden, were walking on the sidewalk with their son in a stroller when the Hyundai left the road and drove on the sidewalk for several hundred feet along Antonio Parkway before colliding with them.
