A school bus and at least one other vehicle collided in Orange County this afternoon, injuring six students who were taken to the hospital according to police as NBC Los Angeles reports.

The crash occurred today, February 16, 2012, a little after 2:00 p.m. near the State College Boulevard and Dorothy Lane intersection in Fullerton, Sgt Andrew Goodrich stated. As NBC Los Angeles reports, Goodrich said all six students, who range in ages from 16 to 22 and are developmentally disabled, were taken to the hospital. One student’s injuries were characterized as minor to moderate in severity. Five other students suffered minor injuries. The students had been riding aboard a bus belonging to the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, NBC LA reports.
