Multiple traffic accidents on the 55 Freeway blocked traffic for miles on Tuesday morning and clogged the commute.

At least three accidents occurred on the southbound side of the 55 Freeway in Orange County.

At around 6 a.m. five vehicles crashed near the East Dyer Road exit and a SigAlert was issued for the No. 4 lane, which was then cleared at about 7:20 a.m.

No one was injured in the collision.

Just after that crash occurred, another incident happened near the East McFadden exit. The crash was on the right shoulder of the freeway and involved four vehicles.

Then, at 6:30 a.m., three vehicles crashed near the 22 Freeway. All three vehicles were in one lane. No injuries were reported.
