Motorcycle Collision on the 91 Leaves Lanes Blocked
The California Highway Patrol said that a motorcycle accident on the eastbound 91 Freeway blocked several lanes for about 45 minutes on Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at around 8:00 a.m. just to the west of Beach Boulevard, according to the CHp’s traffic log.
CHP patrol officer said that the crash occurred when the motorcyclist accidentally struck the back of a minivan. The motorcycle rider suffered moderate to severe injuries in the crash.
The carpool and the No. 1 lanes were both affected. They were reopened by 8:45 a.m.
